Introduction to Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Despite the rapid development in technology, the need for trained technical personnel is increasing day by day. The Electrical and Electronics Engineering program is designed to provide the theoretical fundamentals and a comprehensive technological background for leading edge work in this rapidly developing field. Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department is one of the seven departments in Bayburt University Faculty of Engineering. In the department that received its first students in the academic year 2018-2019, teaching is still continuing with 4 assistant professors and 4 research assistants. Each year, approximately 60 students are admitted to the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Normal education period is 4 years. Some of the main educational and research areas in the department are Communication Systems, Digital Signal Processing, Electromagnetics and Microwave Techniques, Control Systems, Electrical Machines and Power Systems. Our students can benefit from Double Major programs and have the chance to study for a certain period of time at various universities in Turkey and abroad through various student exchange programs. . With these sound knowlege and skills, our graduates are expected to assume technological leadership positions in electrical, electronics, computing communication and related sectors
