About Mechanical Engineering

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bayburt is one of the largest academic program on Engineering Faculty, by student enrollment. The department has been active since 2008. The department started education in 2009. Our department remains a diverse program offered for the undergraduate level for prospective students. Currently, all undergraduate levels are active. In overall, the Department of Mechanical Engineering, has 5 academic members and 10 assistant personnel.

The department offers a wide variety of mandatory and elective courses for prospective students. The aim of the department is to train new Mechanical Engineers, which focuses on turning students into well-educated and qualified staff members.
