Great support continues to come from all parts of the Turkish society to the ‘National Solidarity Campaign’ which has started within the scope of the struggle of Turkey with the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The 'National Solidarity Campaign' was launched under the leadership of President of Turkey Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as an example of mutual assistance and solidarity which was mentioned in the expression: " Two heads are better than one. " which form the basis of our ancient culture and holds a very significant and important part of our traditions.
The National Solidarity Campaign, that President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan pioneered by donating his 7-month salary, also received support from Bayburt University. Participating in the National Solidarity Campaign by donating his one month's salary, Bayburt University Rector Prof. Dr. Selçuk Coşkun invited people of Bayburt University to support this meaningful campaign.
Rector Coşkun said, “The 'National Solidarity Campaign' initiated under the leadership of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, is a very important step for our country to overcome these tough days in unity and solidarity and to provide social solidarity and support. I invite all the Bayburt University family, especially our academic staff, to support this meaningful campaign initiated by our government to support the people in need. "
All academic and administrative staff working at the university, especially Rector Prof. Dr. Selçuk Coşkun, show great interest and continue to provide their best to support the National Solidarity Campaign initiated under the leadership of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as a result of the idea that the government must lead this supportive activities.
